I have been exploring more avenues in 3D printing. Currently I have built a Prusa i3 3D printer to fabricate dampers and friction hinges. I choose this type of printer because it allows more parts to be built per square inch than the previous printer. My materials of choice are nylons and PET which lend themselves to higher stresses. Due to the precision in my devices machineability is crucial and the PET I use is very stable. Contact us at www.mmtech.us for your specific application.
