If you have noticed I used the same image in this post as in the last post. I have used it because it is the same shape as used in my recently invented rotary viscous damper. Since it is still an R&D project I have been experimenting with different materials and finally have emerged with an excellent candidate that can withstand the stresses of processing and remain dimensionally stable. It has all the desirable traits, dimeninal stability, impact resistance machinability, tensile and compressive strengths. There are a few really wonderful qualities that lend themselves to our proprietary processes also. I will be running tests soon to record life data . See us at www.mmtech.us for your rotary viscous damping needs.
